INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Cloud 9 Assist Ltd collects contact information from customers at several different points on our websites: free trial ordering, online support registration and subscription to the Service. We will not sell, share, or rent this contact information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Such data is securely stored and heavily guarded to prevent unauthorised access.
In order to use our Service, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name, email address) and unique identifiers (such as username and password). This information is only used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest.
We request information from the user on our order form. Here a user must provide contact information (e.g. name and email address) and financial information (e.g. credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the customer.
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Cookies are only used to store encrypted login information.
We use IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, page views and access times to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
The Cloud 9 Assist Ltd website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. We implement all necessary measures to maintain high level protection against unauthorised access. Once your information reaches us, it resides on servers that are heavily guarded both physically and electronically.
Physical security: Cloud 9 Assist Ltd services are hosted on highly reliable, secure and redundant servers, located in the secure colocation facility, delivering multi-level physical security for mission-critical Internet operations. All areas of the center are monitored and recorded using CCTV and all access points are controlled.
Application security: all servers are running Windows 2012 R2 Server operating system and are sitting behind electronic firewalls. All drives use NTFS partitions. All Microsoft patches, hot fixes and updates are installed on a regular basis. The systems employed utilise the latest security techniques available from Microsoft. All hyperlinks are secured with SSL encryption. Cloud 9 Assist Ltd automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 256-bits. The database is encrypted via AES256. File attachments are also encrypted via AES256.
SITE AND SERVICE UPDATES
We send site and service updates announcements to our customers. Subscribers are able to un-subscribe from service announcements which contain important information about the service. We communicate with our customers to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.
CORRECTING / UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION
If a customer’s personally identifiable information changes, or if customers no longer desire our service and want to close their account, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that customers personal data provided to us. Change requests should be sent to email@example.com.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
It is Cloud 9 Assist Ltd’s policy to respect the privacy of its customers. Therefore, Cloud 9 Assist Ltd will not monitor, edit or disclose the contents of your personal account unless required to do so by law, in accordance with a judicial or other governmental subpoena, warrant or order or unless Cloud 9 Assist Ltd, believes that such action is necessary to; (1) conform to the law or comply with legal process served on Cloud 9 Assist Ltd; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of Cloud 9 Assist Ltd; or (3) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of its customers or the public.
